*Job Title : ETL QA TesterLocation : Minneapolis, MNDuration : Long Term
ContractShould have Experience in Rally & HadoopResponsibilities:  *
Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific instructions that
may differ from project to project
Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the
Software Development Lifecycle
Develop and implement efficient and effective testing strategy, test
conditions and test scripts
Ability to develop database testing queries using complex SQL.
Work closely with the Business and Developers to test business critical
functionality of the reports.
Partner with the Business and the Development Teams to fix defects.
Ability to test the flow of data between the databases and the reports.
Work with project team to identify risks if quality assurance process is
not followed
Own and manage test environments and processes.
Reporting, tracking and resolving quality issues.
Understand mapping specifications and to build test cases based on the
business requirements.

*Following are the skillset required for traditional Sr. QA*
QA: 7+ years
SQL: 5+ years
ETL DWH Testing: 5+ years
HP ALM: 3+ years
Teradata/Relational DB: 3+ years
UNIX Scripting: 2+ years
BTEQ:  1+ years
Hadoop: 1 year
HIVE: 1 year
Rally – mandatory 1 year

Quality Assurance tester needed for manual functional testing, regression
testing and data validation on UI and datasets. Able to test UI
functionality and verify data (background in DWBI data verification ideal).
Able to write test plans, test scripts and write/execute complex SQL to
verify data mart in Teradata and SAS datasets. Familiarity with Jira
desired. Enter defects, manage defects, report defect status. Requires good
communication skills to interface with business partners.

We need excellent SQL testing, backend testing / databases testing
experience.
The work will be to support reporting within our current ETL environment.
Since we are migrating to Teradata, experience in this platform is a real
plus. However candidates must be very proficient in SQL.

*Below is the description:*
Strong SSIS experience
Strong SQL Programming (MS SQL, or Teradata)
Teradata exp a plus
Not adverse to creating documentation
Solutioning/Architecture/Data Modeling a plus
UHG deployment experience a plus (dealing with tickets, scheduling, etc)
