Our Direct Client – Sutter Health needs an Epic Radiant Trainer (Technical
Trainer) for 3 months duration.Sacramento, CA

client manager is only looking for an Epic Trainer who has an expertise on
Epic Radiant Workflows.*



*Job Details:*



*Facilitate and support EHR end user Virtual Training and/or Instructor Led
Training and Technical Training Specialist.  *



Provides a variety of training services for employees by assisting in
the *education
process for technical application systems and healthcare workflows*.
Primary purpose is to support lead technology training specialist, end-user
training; virtual training classroom coach, effectively engaging the
students with professionalism, translating the content/workflows relevant
to their roles.
Assists in coordinating and instructing classes for all health professional
roles and business operations. In addition, prepares presentations,
participates in workflow analysis as relates to training, and may conduct
special training courses relating to the technical services.



*Performs related duties as required.*

1.       Partners with other lead technology training specialists and
system training team for delivery of training.

2.       Partners with other training staff to prepare for and deliver
training to Epic super/ end users.

3.       Co-develops training and QA support materials in coordination with
Lead Technology Specialist responsible for service line or technology.

4.       Participates in implementation team meetings to maintain
understanding of applications, including new releases and upgrades.

5.       Applies Adult Learning Theory, and utilizes soft skills such as
classroom management to effectively train.

6.       Understands and effectively articulates EHR transition from
current state to future state using scenarios with which the end-users are
familiar.

7.       Ensures application/system training environment is prepared and
ready for training.

8.       Proactively maintains personal knowledge base in regards to
healthcare initiatives, relevant workflows, and EHR functionality.

*Experience/Knowledge/Skills:*

1.       Experience in a self-directed, customer-facing position,
presenting, training, and writing typically acquired in 1 to 3 years

2.       Experience in adult education required, preferred experience in
healthcare workflows.

3.       Conceptual, analytical, negotiation, and problem solving skills.

4.       Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.

5.       Articulate technical details in a concise manner easily understood
by all audiences.

6.       Effective presentation skills and excellent training ability.

7.       Act as a change agent/champion: ability to gain cooperation and
support through explanation of mission and its benefits to users, diffuse
tense situations and manage fear of change.

8.       Understanding of adult learning concepts.

9.       Strong customer service focus in all decisions and actions.

10.   Detail-oriented, self-directed and able to work well, proactively
prepare, and deliver results with minimal supervision.

11.   Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

12.   Maintain a high energy level and be willing to embrace new theory and
practical application.

13.   Possess creativity and present a positive, proactive approach to all
assigned activities.
