We are looking for *Mobile Apps & Connected Devices – Manual Tester* for one of our client at *Midtown, NY*. Please let me know your interest. *Mobile Apps & Connected Devices – Manual Tester* *Location:** Midtown, NY* *Duration**: 12+** months (most likely will run at least 2 yrs)* *Rate:** $50/hr* *Mode:** F2F after phone, local only* *Resources Needed:* 4 Key for this role is *backend* *testing* of *native mobile applications (not *website testing on mobile*)*. If they have smart TV appliance testing such as Roku, Chromecast, FireTV or Apple TV that’s a big plus. If they only have front end functional testing of the apps, it will *not* be a fit since that’s where others have been falling short lately. *NO* banking/insurance resources please. *Client prefers resources from following industries: media, advertising, telecommunications, travel* or anything *outside* of the financial & insurance industry. *Role/Requirements:* · Our top television media client has a need for manual testing of applications. · Write manual test cases to cover functionality of applications. · Experience testing software applications, such as *native mobile applications* (*iOS, Android*.), desktop applications, or games. · *Streaming video/media applications a plus*. · Knowledge of how to use gaming platforms (*PS3, Xbox, etc*.) or connected devices (*Smart TV's, Roku, AppleTV, Chromecast*) a plus. · Work with developers and program managers to ensure all functions of application are correct. Report any defects. Update and create test cases as needed. · Detail oriented.
