Developers are expected to have development expertise on JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as JQuery and Angular, Bootstrap, and HTML5, in addition to proficient server-side programming languages (Java, C#). Expertise on an emerging technologies such as Containers will be preferred. Direct Experience in the following technologies is desired: DB2 on Windows environments Rational Application Developer version 6 and higher. Develop and design web application using Java Technology and J2EE Browser compatibility and cross-platform development issues Design and development using Object Oriented Design principles Spring MVC framework and Hibernate Develop Unit Testing frameworks (JUnit etc.) Eclipse plugins like subclipse, Spring IDE, Hibernate Tools etc. Apache ANT. Cruise Control continuous integration tool IBM Data Studio. Description of Work This position serves as an Applications Programmer and performs systems analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation for these projects. This position must interact with analysts, other developers, and project management staff assigned to the team.
