Role: Performance Tester

Performance Tester will be responsible for building automated test
framework and scripts to test across multiple technology stack and products
of our Client's platform. The tester is one who works with multiple teams,
is able to test overall platform performance and provides feedback quickly
and efficiently identifying high impact, challenging, engineering problems
while continuously raising the standard of quality in our products and
services in a full solutions-oriented SaaS environment.

Main Duties:
Build and executes test to provide high value, high accuracy results
Create automated and manual test script based on uses cases and test
scenarios
Work with multiple automation and profiling test tools both standard and
open source
Work with Agile team members across organization
Performing analysis of test results
Make system/server level changes and optimizations

Skills/Requirements:
Utilizes appropriate methods to solve problems in an accurate and efficient
manner
Effectively communicates statistical and technical information to relevant
stakeholders
Ability to write test scripts, execute test, document and build test
scenarios
Test for data integrity, application and hardware using standard and open
source tools
Write SQL queries and work with data population utilities
Diagnose issues and provide technical impact assessment
Expert with tools like - Silk Performer, Load Runner, Sumo Logic, New
Relic, App Dynamics, AWS cloud watch, Solar Winds, Power Shell

Experience:
Major in computer science, information systems a plus
5+ years of experience working as performance tester
Experience working in a regulated environment preferred
Experience working with Agile methods such as Scrum preferred
Experience with .net and SQL server

performance testing in large and complex systems development projects. This
Quality Assurance Performance Programmer/Developer is needed to bring
several active, high visibility System Modernization projects to successful
completion. The QA Analyst will work on DHS Systems Modernization projects
such as ISDS, MMIS, and METS as determined by the State’s Project Manager.
Project Deliverables
For each project, the Quality Assurance Performance Programmer/Developer
will be working with the project teams and will be expected to:
Develop Performance Test Scripts;
Execute Performance Test Scripts;
Create and maintain Performance Test Strategy;

Role and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Candidate should have strong HP LoadRunner, C programming, debugging,
problem-solving skills.



• People that have great communication skills both written and verbal.



• Candidate should be interested in working in a team environment and are
willing to work well with this team (including reporting to a team lead)
and how it’s currently configured.



• Candidate should have the ability and desire to work on multiple projects
simultaneously and manage their tasks/time appropriately.
