*Functional Oracle eBS Financials w/Vertex Irvine, CA 3 months* Overview: Client is looking for a Functional eBS consultant that has extensive knowledge with taxation software integration with eBS financials both 3rd party (Vertex) and Oracle tax. Certain transactions are passed between Oracle and Vertex for location identification, sales tax determination and reporting for monthly compliance. Functions: Review of all close and reconciliation processes, provide process improvement recommendations and functional configuration of recommendations. Analysis and review of existing financial processes to design a process ensuring a single tax result between multiple tax and financial applications. Functional design and configuration of changes within eBS and Vertex to implement process change recommendations UAT and integration testing of application changes Post production support Documentation and knowledge transfer Requirements: 7-9 years of experience with Oracle eBS financials (GL, AP, AR, Tax), Sub-Ledger Accounting 3-5 years of experience with Oracle Tax and Vertex integration Deep functional knowledge of tax and Vertex.
