Please submit match profiles only IT Infrastructure Consultant About this job The Infrastructure Consultant role within the global consulting services group is a fast paced dynamic position requiring extensive customer interactions. Prospective candidates should have strong customer facing communication skills and solid technical skill. Focus on providing expertise in the IT Infrastructure and Architecture to assist customers with deployment design and installation of core on premise products in the ECM business space. This position requires up to 80\% travel. Role: Infrastructure Consultant primary focuses are: • IT infrastructure strategy • Architecture validation • Infrastructure design and implementation assistance Additional responsibilities include: • Installation of core products in customers environment • Troubleshooting installation and infrastructure issues Delivery of client engagements: • Responsible for achieving 85\% utilization per quarter • Deliver 3-5 client projects on time and on budget per quarter • A mid-level understanding of a variety of deployment topologies • Familiar with advanced data architectures and application architectures • Thrive in a strong customer-servicing ethos • Develop strong relationships with larger clients; maintain key relationships that contribute to Services up-sell opportunities Required: • 5+ years of experience in IT or equivalent experience • Database server management and implementation experience (SQL, Oracle, etc.) • Networking configuration, management and troubleshooting • Server operating systems (Windows 2005, 2008 R2, etc.), Unix/Linux experience a plus • Understanding of Disaster Recovery and High-availability industry standards • Experience with System virtualization (VMware, etc.) • Familiarity with Web Server implementation (Apache, IIS, etc.) • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. • A basic familiarity of at least one programming/scripting language such as C/C++/Java/C#/sh/ksh • Real world experience in deploying solutions, understands product and solution architectures at a theoretical level and demonstrates ability to implement medium to complex deployments • Continued Education/Certification: A+ CompTIA or MCSA, MCSE • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Location: San Jose, CA, UnitedStates, North America Career Level: 5+ Years Education: Bachelor's Degree Regards, Sam Suman Bakshi -Sam 732 637 0815 suman.bak...@harriersys.com * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
