Hi All, Please go through the job desc and let me know your interest. Role: Network Test Engineer Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6+ months.
Primary Responsibilities: * The test engineer will be responsible for the development of the test design, test cases, test configurations, execution of test cases and analysis of test results, problem reporting and recreation, and verification of problem resolution. Assess test progress and communicate testing status reports * Works in concert with the development team to help isolate bugs, improve engineering documentation and enhance product quality * Reproduce customer found problems escalated to testing team and work with Development & Sustaining teams in resolving them * Evaluate/develop new test tools and automated test cases for existing and next generation products and technologies Qualifications and Requirements: * A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, electrical engineering or associated discipline * Must have 4+ years of hands-on manual testing experience with switching/routing background. * A deep understanding of the quality life cycle to include: test planning, test case definition, test case development, test execution, defect analysis and reporting. * Experience in performing functional, system, solution, scalability, performance and interoperability testing *Mandatory skills :* ** Detailed understanding of L2/L3 features (ARP, VLANs,etc is mandatory ) and L2 protocols such as ( STP, LACP, routing protocols) or ( OSPF/BGP protocols) is needed.* ** Hands-on experience with TCP/IP test/debugging tools and 3rd party traffic generation tools like Ixia/Spirent for simulation of Layer2-7 test environment * ** Experience in test automation using Python, Tcl, Perl or any other scripting language is desirable * Good to have : * Ability to design and deploy a test network including clients/servers (Windows, Linux), switches, routers, Layer4-7 devices and traffic tools like Spirent/Ixia/BreakingPoint * Strong technical debugging skills in isolating the root cause of software defects; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written * Strong domain knowledge in TCP/IP and Layer4-7 concepts (Load Balancing, content switching, stateful inspection etc) * Experience with testing Application Delivery Controllers (from vendors Brocade, Cisco, Citrix, F5, Radware) is a plus * Experience in Cisco iOS NxOS based products is a huge plus. *Thanks and Regards,* *Jitesh Sahu* ll Technical Recruiter - Talent Management Group ll ll IT-SCIENT ll ll Phone: 510-972-5242 ll Email: jit...@itscient.com <jitesh.itsci...@gmail.com> ll ll Web: www.itscient.com ll -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
