Position  : Network Engineer
Location : Exton,PA
Duration :  3+ Months

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent communication skills a must.
Deliver Level 2 LAN/WAN technical support - Wide Area Routing and Local
Area Switching Architecture and troubleshooting:
Provide daily troubleshooting support for Routing and Switching Services
for global infrastructure.
Routing and Switching route cause analysis (RCA) for Day 2 operations
supporting identification and resolution for network events.
Work assigned tickets to determine the point of failure and resolve
problems remotely utilizing available tools and other Operation Center
resources.
Work and escalate problems effectively in order to meet customer SLA's
(service level agreements); escalate to L3 engineers or Management if
unable to resolve the issue.
Perform problem management and root cause analysis for customers as
required.
Maintain all assigned tickets with up to date information in our ticketing
system.
Provide escalation support to L1 members of network team
Support service quality metrics.
DNS, IP Adress Management Experience
LAN, Wireless, WAN, triage troubleshooting.
Prime, WLC, Leightweight Wireless AP experience is a plus.
Infoblox IPAM experience a plus, Riverbed experience is a plus,
QOS experience, IOS updating.
Industry Knowledge:
Cisco Routing and Switching IP Troubleshooting Standards
Computer Networking
LANS/WANS
Switches – Cisco Catalyst platform (VLANs, trunking)
Solid understanding of routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP OSPF, BGP and other
related technologies (Multicast, IP Video and IP Telephony)
Have extensive work experience in configuration and troubleshooting LAN
Routing Protocol, Trunking, ISL and 802.1q, VLAN, Ether Channel, STP, Layer
2 Protocols, IP addressing
Extensive experience with Cisco Routers (2500/2600/2800/
3200/3600/3800/7200/7500) and Catalyst Switches 4500/3500/2900/6500)
Strong working knowledge of Nexus 5000/7000
Cisco Wireless LAN - working level knowledge preferred
Cisco CCNP R/S required, or commensurate skill level.
Strong familiarity with Cisco tool sets
Load Balancing -- CSS, ACE, F5 basic knowledge and experience
Possesses a high degree of system level troubleshooting
Ability to work in a team environment and willingness to assist and
effectively communicate with individuals across the organization.
Excellent communication and written skills

Job Title  :  Network Engineer
Location  :  Chicago IL and Phoenix,AZ
Duration  :  6+ Months C2H

Skills and Experience required:
seeking a Network Engineer for a six month contract to hire in Chicago and
Phoenix.
Network Engineer:
This position will provide architecture and engineering support for the
integration of multiple networks.
They will operate at the expert level.
The candidate will also assist with completion of projects or assist in
identifying solution requirements,  development of new solutions or
strategies that required skills around architecture development,
design/engineering specifications, integration planning, migration options,
test plans, integration tasks, task sequencing, and internal status
communication and troubleshooting.
Technical Qualifications
Candidate will have strong skills surrounding the planning, design and
implementation of multiprotocol, multivendor solutions.
Experience in the architecture, migration and integration planning aspects
of large, complex MPLS/WAN environments.
Experience in the planning, design and deployment of LAN/WAN and IP
architectures.
Possess expert knowledge of VPN, ISP peering, policy, BGP, ISIS, OSPF and
other IP and LAN/WAN protocol application.
Experience in the architecture, migration and integration planning aspects
of next generation DC environments.
Experience with network design incorporating quality of service, fault
resiliency, symmetry and high availability.
Familiar with network services including the configuration of network
elements to support integration of load balancers, WAN Acceleration, DHCP,
DNS and security.
Experience developing detailed designs surrounding WAN/LAN, VPN, and DMZ
network architectures.
Experience in configuration, troubleshooting, and problem solving IP
connectivity issues.
