Location: *Rock Island, IL* Interview Process: *1 Phone Screen* Duration: *18 Months* ***QA position in which the candidate needs to be able to understand and read code as well. TFS (Team Foundation Server) is a huge plus. Just to let you know I have placed 3 candidates with this client over the last 3 weeks. If your candidate is qualified they WILL get hired*** My client is in need for someone with a programming background that is good at *TFS (Team Foundation Server)*, can communicate bugs and other issues effectively and has experience in a QA role. Here is some qualities we would be looking for: 1) Attention to detail 2) Intermediate development skills in .net; VB or C# (they may need to do some UFT scripting. They will certainly need to read and understand code… just not make any changes) 3) Experience with TFS: the more the better. (they will be using TFS for tasks and work management more than for source control) 4) Business analysis skills. 5) Good written communication skills. (they will be logging a lot of bugs that need to be interpreted by different people) Bonus skills 1) Experience with Unit Testing and Integration testing (we won’t be writing any, but it will prove they understand the concept of testing) 2) Experience preforming code reviews (they won’t be doing this, but it shows an ability to track down defects in code) Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
