*Reply On s...@itscient.com* *Job Title: GIS Analyst With Oil Gas Domain Exp.* *Location: Bakersfield, CA* *Experience Level/Designation: 5+Years* *Duration: Long Term* *No. Of Positions: 05* Job Description:-- oComprehensive knowledge of GIS and spatial science concepts oExperience with ArcGIS desktop, Server, SDE (version 10.0 and higher) o Create/update ArcMap documents o Create/update/publish map, Geoprocessing, other GIS web services o Create/update/publish web map applications using web ADF framework o Manage/administrate SDE using Sql Server o Support business users with general ArcGIS Desktop/other GIS applications questions o Must be updated with ESRI’ GIS products and functionality updates – the current project is interested in updating or utilizing ESRI’ time slider or animation functionality to make use of the updated animation (show change in featuresover a period of time) effects oExperience with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) oCreate/update FME jobs and automate them using windows task scheduler oExperience with Silverlight and/or JavaScript or other industry standard APIs oCreate/update/publish applications using Silverlight viewer for ESRI’ ArcGIS oBasic knowledge or experience with SharePoint oEdit web parts or create web pages oGIS Development experience is a plus oNet experience would be helpful – as Chevron is a Microsoft shop oExperience with Agile methodology oThorough with SDLC concepts oGood communication skills oProvide training or presentations or technical sessions to business users in GIS oMust be eloquent in communication, esp. with the business users in providing solutions oWork experience with Oil and Gas domain and different departments or teams within Oil industry namely, HES, Land, EMC, Facility, ADT (Asset Development Team), Technical Team oMust be able to work independently and within a team setting oImportant to maintain business decorum Skillset required 1.
