Leading a team of software developers or architects to be effective in the design, development, and support of software applications and systems based business demands · Ability to lead large projects and tracks efficiently and cohesively · Guides development staff in promoting high performance culture and cost effectiveness across teams · Offshore – Ability and experience of coordinating with offshore teams, and knowledge of the typical pitfalls in an offshore engagements, as well as ensuring effective usage of the advantages of offshore delivery team. · Understanding of collaboration tools to ensure intra team coordination. · Promotes sharing of domain expertise and knowledge across the team · Provides technical leadership and expertise about the feature set or domain supported by their team · Envisions new technical capabilities and common applications components. Contributes to business case development associated with technology investment needs · Participates in technology selection efforts · Mentors team members on technology, architecture and application delivery · Develop product technology strategy by understanding key client objectives and requirements; present solutions risks and mitigation, prepare time and cost estimates; plan full project life cycle and recommend approaches to improve time · Use development best practices to translate business requirements into technical specifications. · Understanding and experience of agile methodology and associated tools.
