*Job Description:*

• Strong in various design patterns and hands-on experience in
designing various patterns such as Inversion of Control, Dependency
Injection, Repository, abstract factory patterns etc.

• Rich experience in leveraging LINQ features in C#

• Strong experience in designing and implementing RESTful services
using Web API’s

• Experience and knowledge of WCF Services/Web API Security
Implementation standards by leveraging SAML/OAUTH or other token providers.

• Experience in designing exception handling and logging features
by leveraging some of the Nuget Packages such as Log4jNet or Microsoft
Enterprise Libraries

• Hands on experience in creating Unit testing framework for Web
API’s or WCF Services.

• Experience and knowledge in handling Json
Serialization/Deserialization aspects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the Columbia Management Equity and Fixed Income business
units to support, maintain and enhance systems used for Portfolio
Management and Research analysis.
Apply subject matter and technical expertise to the design analysis process
when delivering technology solutions for the business.
Responsible for coding new application enhancements and/or providing coding
for bug fixes to current application defects.
Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving incidents  providing ongoing
support of Portfolio Decision Support  Research applications.
Provide technical expertise on assigned applications, to include interfaces
and interrelationships with other applications and systems.
Work closely with internal and external technology teams when triaging and
resolving application defects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Must have knowledge of database designs / schemas and overall network
architecture knowledge.
Must have 3-5 years’ experience with programming skills in most or all of
the following languages: .NET, C#, VB.net, ASP.Net.
Must have proficient knowledge with supporting and coding SQL, Stored
Procedures and SSRS.
Must have excellent communication skills.

Must have financial industry experience (highly prefer Asset Mgmt.
experience).
Looking for 3-5 years’ experience.
75% hands on development/programming and 25% analysis. Must have an
analysis background.
Day-to-day productions support, break-fix issues, enhancement request,
etc..
