*Need QA SOA Tester - Cincinnati, OH - NO H1b * *Job Title: QA SOA Tester Location: Cincinnati, OHDuration: 6+ Month Contract * SOA Tester Overview: The SOA tester will provide support in developing SOA/integration interface test plans and estimates, automated test script development, executing service test scripts, reporting/tracking defects. The SOA Tester is responsible for managing quality and test related process execution with high impact to the business. This includes providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phasewithin DCP projects; authoring test plans and test cases; and performing test execution for both project and support related activities. SOA Tester Job Requirements: Have 5+ years of overall software testing experience. Prior experience in Agile software development methodology (SAFe approach preferred). Be very familiar with CA Lisa or similar automated test tool (e.g. ParaSoft SOA, Soap UI) to include: Test script design and development. Testing web services designed to function in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment. Designing and writing automated test scripts. Prior experience using Jira for defect tracking. Have a minimum 3 years’ experience with automated web services testing. Possess in depth knowledge of SOA test automation framework, process, strategy, and approach. Demonstrate experience in validating XML, XSD, XPath Syntax, Web Services, MQ, Topics, REST, HTTP, SOAP Messaging, etc. Show a strong understanding of Java and C programming fundamentals. Be proficient in SQL and database concepts. SQL experience is a must - 2 years. Ability to succeed and focus in a fast paced environment with noise/distractions. Have own transportation as occasional travel between locations is required.
