Wintel Admin Plano, TX 6+ Months Job Description Will be loading OS and software, and responsible for the configuration (which includes Cluster). Will build and configure new servers in Data Center; bring to online state and assist in moving data if needed. Will prepare servers and bring equipment up and execute application image on servers as required. Will also complete health check on systems and verification system is operational once up. Contractor may be required to work global hours. Build, configure and setup AD server(s). Creates/drives automation of operational tasks/process in his area of expertise in line with the Cloud automation strategy supported by the Automation Engineer(s). Documents technical requirements for dependent components and maintains relationships with the product engineering function that owns the dependent component to ensure it meets requirements. Job Requirements at least 5 years of Wintel experience. Some experience with Linux. Overall infrastructure administration knowledge like patching and hardening. VMWare experience. Willing to rack and stack servers. Obtains a whatever-it-takes attitude. Optional Requirements 3PAR. Linux scripts.
