Engr will be heavily involved in the technical/business analysis for the purpose of designing and executing automated and manual test scripts. Ensure that test scripts are up to date with current business and design changes, aid in the selection of tests to be run for any particular regression depending on the business perspective, analyze results to determine the root cause of problems, work on any script improvement needs, coordinate offsite test activities and analysts from other QA business oriented groups when necessary to manage your testing effort, log problems, request and maintain test data. Expected Qualifications The candidate will have experience with SOA architecture testing including WSDL, XML, and SOAP messaging. Demonstrated ability to: Analyze business/technical requirements Analyze test errors to determine cause. Verify accuracy of data. Verify correctness of system configuration. Verify correctness of build configuration. Report status of regression testing to managers and team. Test fixes submitted from development. Design and execute SQL scripts Understand the functional specification and scope of projects. Attend project meetings Coordinate offsite testing Experience with Automated testing tools Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 5-10 years related experience. Preferred Skills Familiarity with the following tools and technology is a plus: XMLtools, SOATest, Quality Center, QTP HTML/Java/JSP, Internet architectural components SeeBeyond, ICAN, WebServices, J2EE Additional Requirement Experience with Junit or Jtest Java test harnesses. Excellent Understanding of SOA/J2EE Architecture Experience with Business Intelligence technologies. Working Experience: SOATest, HP Loadrunner Knowledge/Experience of: WebMethods Platform, SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) Extract, Transfer and Load Technology (ETL) Strong verbal and written communications skills. Good interpersonal skills, team player.
