*Job Description *

Ability to quickly assimilate into a complex environment and rapidly
learn the existing and inbound technologies
-
*At least 3-5 years of engineering experience on Weblogic Server 11g.
1-2 years of experience with 12c strongly preferred. Experience with WLST a
plus*
-
*At least 3-5 years of engineering experience on WebSphere Application
Server 6.1 and/or 7. Experience with wsadmin a plus *
-
*Strong proficiency on the *nix command line as well as the ability to
read/write utility scripts (e.g. shell, perl) *
-
*Experience with Apache HTTP Server preferred; experience with
mod_security a big plus*
-
Experience, or at least knowledge and some *familiarity with BIG-IP F5
LTMs is preferred*
-
*Must have at least some understanding of Java based applications and
specific knowledge of how a Java application interacts with the application
server; cannot be a “blind” admin *
-
Strong and demonstrable troubleshooting and problem solving skills
-
Must have good overall understanding of the application layer and how it
fits into the overall stack that is normally configured for web and service
applications

Professional government consulting experience and background required

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Must have the ability to work autonomously

Must have ability to easily switch contexts when multiple priorities
arise
EDUCATION: B.S. in Computer Science or related area of study
