Should have the below experience:

 

. T-SQL - should be very strong in SQL, especially with stored
procedures.

. Microsoft Report Viewer - should be very knowledgeable of how this
works.  Most of the reports that our users have are based on this control.
It's displayed through the use of complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Some SQL queries use files on our AS/400 but it's still typical SQL.  

. Using datagrids to update data - One important function is for
users to be able to update data that is displayed using the Microsoft Report
Viewer.  This seems to be done in a datagrid that then updates a SQL table.
This doesn't always work and the current consultant is having problems
making it work.

. Access - There will be some occasional work done in Microsoft
Access.  Candidate should be able to create and modify Access queries and
modules that call programs and pass parameters.

. VB.Net - All code behind the webpages are in vb.net

 

The MS Report Viewer isn't a deal breaker; let me know if anything has
changed with you.

Experience
