Please find the Job description below and contact me at your earliest possible convenience. *Role: **BO Admin* *Duration: **6+ Months* *Location: Milwaukee, WI* *Requirements* · Ability to function independently with minimal oversight and direction Assignments are broad in nature and complex in scope. · Ability to work off hours and weekends diligently and participate in an on-call rotation. · Ability to work with other IT groups to complete the task at hand Ability to function independently with minimal oversight and direction · Ability to multi-task and prioritize Must be able to follow-through on tasks as assigned · Ability to work well in a fast-paced challenging environment · Ability to schedule, manage, facilitate and document workgroup meetings · Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions Worked with BI industry accepted best practices, supporting full SDLC and production processes at a large company Installation and configuration of business objects releases, patches and upgrades in virtual server environments Creation and maintenance of BO security groups and content Troubleshooting/tuning CMS and server tuning parameters for BOXI 3.1 & BO BI 4.2 environments Installation, configuration and use of BOXI administration tools such as Auditor and third party monitoring tools · Ability to use Query Builder effectively to answer environment usage questions Develop and maintain universes in BOXI 3.1/ BO BI 4.2 · Experience with designer, desktop intelligence, web intelligence, analytics, Xcelsius and dashboard development tools Development using SDK code to extract metadata · Ability to design a monitoring/alert solution for BO services Acting on systems alerts related to capacity and unavailability. · Maintaining BO platform availability by ensuring different services are functional and stopping, starting and verifying them as needed. · Working with SAP technical support on issues as needed. Provide system and usage metrics as needed Establish best practices and guidelines for the users. *Responsibility* The Business Objects (BO) Administrator's primary focus is supporting users and operational stability for large scale deployments of the BO Platform environments.
