 We have this position with our client


* Position: Oracle Applications DBA with Oracle Financials Functional
Experience

Location: Linthicum, MD

Duration: 6+Months  contract

Rate: DOE




Candidate must have resided in US for 3 consecutive years.



Responsibilities:

 This resource will be part of the Tech team responsible to manage and help
handle technical escalations of technical problems, work with Oracle support
to open and support TARs/SRs, perform high level patch analysis report
indicating the changes made to the system is to be provided in text
indicating what the patch or patch set does to the system before the patch
is to be applied.. Perform queue management for ticket assignment, tasking,
and coordination. Identify and apply new/required application and database
patches released by Oracle. This includes identifying relevant patches or
patch sets to be applied, analyzing the appropriate patch application
sequence, and providing technical analysis of the patches to the functional
teams for evaluation. Resource must be able to work across multiple teams in
a matrix environment.



Apps DBA, Oracle Technical, Oracle Functional

Required:

•     6-8 years Apps DBA experience on Oracle 10.5.10 dealing with managing
development and production instances of Oracle Financials systems.

•     Experience in coordinating between development, DBA and system
management teams to facilitate the resolution of issue.

•     Working knowledge of the functionality of Oracle Financials modules.

•     Technical development experience in PL/SQL and experience and Life
Cycle management experience dealing with Oracle Applications

•     Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

•     Positive attitude, strong mentoring skills, flexible.

•     Able to multitask and work across many teams.

•     May be required to work after hours and weekends.

•     Able to document and articulate tasks performed.

•     Must be able to work onsite.



Preferred:

- Oracle Apps DBA experience

- Experience with functional aspects of PO/ AR/AP/GL Federal Administration
modules for Oracle Applications and Discoverer.

- Knowledge and experience in software version control system

- Worked in at least one ERP implementation project.

- Experience with configuration management, Applimation Integra CodeBase and
Mercury ITG. Experience with reviewing patch analysis reports and lgi files
