   - Strong Drupal 7 experience a major plus. Active contributor to
   community also a major plus.
   - We will consider php developers with a good amount of experience with
   any CMS
   - 3-5 years of PHP development, more is better. The candidate needs to
   have solid software engineering skills
   - Experience with object oriented code and design patterns a plus
   - Experience with automated testing a plus
   - Demonstrated ability to create well designed Drupal modules.
   - Acquia Certified Developer a plus
   - Solid front end skills (HTML/CSS/Javascript).
   - This can be a secondary skill but if they will be required to work
   with HTML, CSS, and Javascript on a daily basis.
   - Experience working within a team and good collaborative skills.
   - Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving
   - Able to multi-task and respond quickly and creatively to feedback from
   project teams and work on a tight schedule.
   - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
   - Extreme attention to detail is necessary to assure that all code
   follows appropriate processes, is accurate, and passes validation
   - Ability to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment
   - Work well with teams or in a team environment
   - A solid understanding of software engineering design methodologies and
   Internet technologies.
   - Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.

• Custom Drupal Development
• Responsible for deployments
• Translating Specs into code
• Finding ways to customize Drupal sites without modifying existing
code but coming up with creative ways to create new modules or add on to
existing ones.

*Job Description:*
Drupal Developer Job in Washington, DC Area
 awesome Drupal developer to join our team, mediocre or kind of good just
isn't going to be enough. We need someone who knows the hook signatures off
of the top of their head, writes Views plugins instead of hacking up the
templates, and is comfortable tracing through core or contributed modules
to figure out how they work to add a new feature.
The position we're hiring for is to act as technical lead on website
development projects in Drupal, obviously, as well as several other
platforms. This encompasses everything from doing the initial specs,
configuring or writing modules to implement custom functionality, and
assisting the front end developers on getting the themes in place.
Not everything is Drupal though; you'll need jQuery and CSS too. Experience
with Rails, Backbone, mobile, and Facebook aps are a big plus on the
development side. Likewise with eliciting and formally documenting system
requirements. While not necessary, knowledge of SEO, data warehousing and
analysis, and common analytics reporting tools would round out our ideal
person
