Send resumes to vib...@tekshapers.com Position: WebSphere Commerce Developer Location: Seattle, WA Duration: 6+ Months Interview: Phone /Skype Visa: only GC or USC Tasks and responsibilities o Development of features for a global E-Commerce website. o Creation of conceptual and detailed technical design documents. o Provides accurate and timely estimates (work breakdown schedules). o Designs and develops relational database applications. o Documents and executes unit and integration tests. o Defines and implements standards and best practices for software development. o Participates in code review sessions as a coordinator, owner, reader, recorder or observer. o Supports the needs and requirements of other I.S. departments. o Provides 3rd-level application support for production installed components. Required skills and abilities o Minimum 4 years' experience with Web and UI development using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. o Minimum 4 years' experience developing in a distributed application environment. o Minimum 2 years' experience as a development lead on major projects. o Must have experience programming with J2EE development stack, preferably on IBM WebSphere Commerce platform. o Must have working knowledge of Java, EJB, JMS, JSP, Web Services, SOAP, and XML technologies. o Experience programming in one major database: DB2, MS SQL, or Oracle. o Strong knowledge of object oriented concepts and applied UML experience. Recommended skills, abilities, and certifications o Experience programming in DB2 and/or MS SQL Server is highly desirable. o Knowledge and experience with IBM development tools preferred. o Previous e-Commerce experience preferred. o Previous experience working in a Service Oriented (SOA) environment preferred. o Previous experience operating in a DevOps model is highly desirable.
