** *Senior Full Stack Java Developer -Fixed Income Research Team* *Contract Duration: 6+ months Location: Boston, Massachusetts* *Qualifications* - Hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related subject, with good mathematical acumen. - Minimum of seven years of hands-on software development in JAVA, Spring and delivery experience in a commercial environment supporting complex application development life cycles - Demonstrated experience in building complex Web Applications using: - JavaScript, Node.js, AngularJS/ReactJS, Bootstrap, HTML5 and CSS. - Core Java, Spring, Web Services - Reporting platform (Tableau or other BI tool) - Experience with, and a demonstrated understanding of, modern software development and testing methodologies. - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills. - Be willing and able to work both independently and as part of a team, in an energetic, fast-paced, business-critical environment. - Demonstrate previous ability to deliver high quality solutions. - Intermediate level expertise with SQL is a plus - Experience with, and demonstrated understanding of modern software development and DevOps methodologies is a strong plus *Description:* - As part of continued growth, a new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Engineer on the FI Research team. As a member of the IT Fixed Income Team, this individual will be responsible for solutions delivery. This is an ideal opportunity for an IT professional to apply business and/or technical skills to enable investment processes to become more effective. - The IT Fixed Income Research team is responsible for capturing and publishing structured and non-structured research for various business teams covering different asset classes. Availability and reliability of research data is critical for the investment and trading process. Research provided by our analysts is an important contribution to our investment performance.
