Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Project management and assessment of technical skills and estimates needed to design, build, test & deploy code. • Enterprise implementation including identification of components that should be aligned with enterprise (high probability of re-use, versus LOB specific). • Leadership experience including mentoring other application developers, acting as role model on how to structure well-formed code. • Strategic planning including identifying how emerging technology could be used to drive revenue, reduce costs or improve productivity. • Application development including tracking quality of code delivered by ensuring low to zero defects post production. • Business acumen • Change management Compentencies: • Ability to quickly learn new technical approaches and effectively share knowledge with other team members. • Understanding of how to leverage technology in a corporate environment. • Concepts of risk management, issue tracking, change management, requirements gathering and current development technologies. • Presenting ideas and information through all means of communication (written, oral, formal presentation) including preparing various reports, summaries, surveys and written communications to IT management, user groups, and business partners. • Using customer centric approaches for choosing courses of action or developing appropriate solutions. • Tenaciously working to deliver team goals with the greatest potential for producing positive business results. • Exercising judgment by using effective practices for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.
