Active Directory Windows consultant Location: Northen NJ. Duration: 4-6 Months... * REQUIREMENTS:* *Minimum of 3 years' enterprise experience administering Active Directory Global Catalog, schema, trusts, and related technologies *Minimum of 3 years enterprise experience designing and implementing large scale Client/Server open systems environments *Strong customer focus, communication skills, and excellent technical and interpersonal skills *MCSE Certification or equivalent experience applying and delegating permissions via OUs, object types, and GPO with proper use of Distribution, Local, Global and Universal groups and experience automating system administration tasks, auditing access, and monitoring resources *Three or more years' experience administering Active Directory in an enterprise class environment (minimum 6,000 users / 7,000 computer objects) and experience designing and implementing Active Directory Organizational Units, Replication, Sites, and Distributed File System *Three or more years of experience administering Active Directory delegated permissions via OUs, object types and GPO with proper use of Distribution, Local, Global and Universal groups *Intermediate to advanced experience with server based event and performance monitoring tools. *Creative and strategic thinker; excellent problem solving skills. Thorough understanding of: *Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 *Active Directory 2003/2008 *DNS *LDAP *Kerberos *GPOs *Enterprise Systems *System Remediation *Network + Candidate needs at least 5 years of proven track records in the design, setup, support and troubleshooting of Active Directory for Windows Server OS Win2003 and Win2008. Candidate needs experience in planning and implementation of Windows 2003/2008 domain infrastructure, Windows Active Directory 2003/2008 setup, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Security Policy and LDAP interoperability with 3rd party applications. Must possess a strong understanding of Active Directory and will diagnose system failures to isolate the sources of problems between equipment, network, system software, and application programs. Experience with a multi-site, multi-domain Active Directory environment Strong project background and understand a diversity of tools that work within Active Directory (example SAP) Windows and Shell scripting capabilities Candidate will be an Active Directory Windows consultant who will design, engineer and implement AD Infrastructure changes for BD Manufacturing facilities around the globe. The candidate will work with multiple sites and site admins to gather requirements and specifications for the AD design and will then implement them in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will lead the evaluation, testing, and implementation of infrastructure technologies, which include installing hardware, software, and documenting procedures.
