RESPONSIBILITIES: * Collaborate and negotiate to define project scope boundaries. * Lead interviews and/or design sessions to define, document, and prioritize business requirements for large scale project. * Contribute to project plan, detailing analysis tasks in the plan. * Develop the user acceptance test plan and test conditions. * Contribute to implementation planning and post-implementation tracking. * Execute test plans and test cases on a scheduled and ad hoc basis. * Provide effective communication on project status, risks, and defects with Project owners and stakeholders. This will include the ability to concisely and accurately develop sustained relationships with internal business and technology partners. * Successfully manage relationships with vendors and other external partners. * Identify business needs or opportunities for improvement through either broad industry knowledge, or detailed knowledge of specific products, services or processes. * Proactively teach others in a specific area of expertise through knowledge sharing and mentorship. * Leverage and contribute to the development of best practices. * Perform occasional ad hoc tasks as needed. REQUIREMENTS: *Strong analytical, quantitative problem solving skills * In depth knowledge of business operations and processes with the ability to articulate these processes to others. * Experience with eliciting requirements, creating test cases, executing test cases, implementation planning, and implementation execution. * Experience with project methodology (both agile and waterfall preferred) and project life cycles. * Understand and apply technology as it relates to the business * Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments while being able to shift priorities to meet the current business environment needs. * Effective written communication skills to deliver articulate and concisely summarize information. * Ability to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision. * Competency in Microsoft Office. * Project related experience with financial or product applications * Experience developing and revising business process models. * Working knowledge with the following applications: MS Visio and HP Quality Center. My hope is that you will be able to call me for years and that I will be here to help you out whether I place you or not Position:Business Systems Analyst Location:Mounds View, MN Duration:4+ Month Contract *upon offer, candidates must complete background check and drug test* This position works with Business stakeholders, Program Managers, Project managers, IT teams to implement Inventory reporting initiatives across multiple business units. Position Responsibilities: Business Analysis: • Independently work with Business Stakeholders to understand the requirements and translate them into Functional requirements. • Work with IT teams and help in developing the Detailed Technical Specifications. • Create test scripts and execute them. • Coordinate with business stakeholders, project management and across multiple IT teams to make sure implementation is successful and timelines are met. • Ensuring processes are understood and followed consistently Relationship Management: • Maintain active, collaborative relationships – working partnerships – with stakeholders. • Partner with business stakeholders, project teams and IT peers to communicate areas of change. Individual Accountabilities: • Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, project goals, etc.). • General Issue Management. • Passion to win Candidate Qualifications/Requirements: • 7+ years of experience • Strong analysis skills • Strong understanding of Sales Order and Inventory Management processes and related data structures in SAP. • Strong experience working in BI , Middleware and Business Objects reporting. • Nice to have experience on Salesforce.com. • Ability to take the initiative and to work independently. • Experience in facilitating small to large groups through challenging discussions. • Experience working in a team-based environment and being accountable on both individual and team-based assignments. • Strong interpersonal, oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
