*Role : DevOps Engineer with Linux Systems Admin background*

*Location : Denver CO*

*Duration : Long Term*

*GC and Citizen and GC-EAD*


*Tasks*: This individual will be responsible for assisting with the daily
support and administration of the Wholesale platforms with responsibilities
including system administration, engineering, tooling, and automation





•  Application support and engineering for enterprise systems
(500,000 + customers)

o  On- call responsibilities – must be willing to utilize
hardware, network, and application knowledge to solve platform issues

o  Application is proprietary – requires motivated people who
have a strong hardware background that want to learn the software aspect too

•  Python scripting

•  Linux system administration

•  Networking proficiencies

•  Virtualization/cloud experience

•  Puppet implementation, administration, and configuration



*Job Description*:

Responsible for design, development, implementation, and analysis of
technical products and systems. Performs engineering design evaluations.
May develop a range of products. Recommends alterations to development and
design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. May require a
bachelor's degree in engineering and at least 6 years of experience in the
field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts,
practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions
and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works
under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.



*Ideal skills:* focus on the required skills listed above…

Python, Ruby, Puppet, Docker, Proprietary Application (Software) Support,
On Call responsibilities, System Administration Linux, Virtualization
