*Description:* The Project Manager works with many areas of the organization and has working knowledge of initiating, planning and executing, monitoring & controlling and the closing of projects. To accomplish these tasks, the successful candidate must be able lead project teams directly in both a virtual and matrix environment, and know how to apply project management processes, including managing stakeholder expectations, communications, budget management, scheduling management, performance reporting of initiatives/projects. This individual will maintain scope, cost and schedule of simple to complex projects through management of the project and interaction with the project stakeholder, including development and maintenance of project management plan and communication. This individual serves as a role model to team members by demonstrating a commitment to commonly adopted processes and standards for project management. This position will also ensure that the core team reaches the desired quality level; create and gain approval of formal SOW’s; facilitate core team meetings and maintain master project schedules. Analyze and report actual performance vs. goals. Establish clear objectives and deliverables for the programs that support the business. Schedule and run all project phases and manage major risks and issues through effective planning and escalation. *Technical Skills Required:* Required technical skills of a candidate – i.e.VB, Lotus Notes, PeopleSoft, etc. in order of priority Managing the overall project schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget. Advanced understanding of scope, schedule, planning; moderate understanding of time management, resource management, communications management and cost management. Create and develop the project scope and schedule for simple to complex projects and assign resources to associated tasks and deliverables as appropriate, manage resources and tasks based on the plan Complies with all project management processes, procedures, protocols, and standard practices Works with project team to identify risk, cost resource and dependencies Develops and maintains relationship with project stakeholders and manage stakeholder expectations. Proactively disseminating project information to all stakeholders Proactively identifies and addresses project risks and opportunities; explains difficult issues and works to establish consensus with project team, communicates issues and status reports to supervisors and stakeholders. Assesses scope changes and performs impact analysis on the approved baseline Create and maintains predefined project documentation (reporting, meeting...) Experience with various SDLC methodologies, e.g. RUP, Agile. Develops procedures and coordinates IT activities within project teams *Soft Skills (including but not limited to Written, Verbal and Presentation skills)* ** Organization and planning skills Priority setting skills Strong analytical and problem solving Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment Ability to present clear and concise information to Team, internal customers Ability to build effective teams Strong initiative and ability to work in self directed environment Strong written and verbal skills Excellent interpersonal skills Analysis of customer needs *Desirable Skills (Skills that are desired but not required. i.e. nice to have) * Promotes teamwork, coaches and guides others *Additional Information (Desired Educational or Professional Candidate background? (i.e., BS Comp. Science, MCSE, CCIE, etc).* Travel, up to 50% of the time to Cleveland Minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management in complex environments. Experience working with diverse global initiatives/projects. Extensive Project Management experience with state of the art application development solutions. *Other Comments (include travel requirements, if any): * Demonstrated understanding of business processes and how technology enables those processes. Proven ability to grasp complex issues to and to be responsive to customer requirements. Ability to coordinate multiple diverse time sensitive tasks. Experience in program management including planning.
