FAST Search SME Location: St Louis Status: Contract Salary: Market Close Date: Start Sept 28 - 2 months + Subject matter expert on Microsoft FAST ESP version 5. Candidates should have in-depth experience with implementing enterprise search solutions for large web farms. Should have expert (3-5 years) level knowledge of best practices concerning performance and availability. Primary responsibility will be to build operational procedures and documentation while assisting in the implementation of the solution for 1000+ consumer websites. Must work well in a team environment and be willing to mentor teammates. Given the short term nature of the contract and project timelines, candidates should be able to get up to speed quickly with minimal on-boarding. Skill Ratings: Rate 0-10: 1 being equivalent to knowing what the technology is and is used for. 10 being equivalent to being recognized within the industry as a thought leader on the topic. 3 is typically consistent with 1-2 years of work experience.
