$50hr MAX Rate Storage Engineer needed for a 6 month contract-to-possible hire position. This role will be responsible for day-to-day system administration of Storage solutions, monitoring and maintaining the current infrastructure on various networks, and supporting the installation of software upgrades. The Storage Engineer will also assist with maintaining data quality and reliability as well as patch updates, and will be responsible for the operations and upkeep of the Storage infrastructure and arrays. This position will act as a technical escalation point within Central Operations for storage specific issues. This role will also provide training and technical leadership to Storage Admin I and Tier I personnel. Required Skills / Experience: - 4 years' experience administering EMC VNX / CLARiiON Arrays and/or NetApp filers for SAN storage solutions. - 2 years' experience administering EMC Celerra and/or Netapp Filers for NAS storage solutions. - 2 years' experience administering Cisco MDS and/or Brocade Fibre directors and/or switches. - 3 years' experience administering enterprise SAN switching environments. - 4 years System Administration experience, any OS. - 2 years' experience working on an Enterprise Operations team. Desired Skills / Experience: - Experience with FCoE (Fibre Channel of Ethernet) and/or iSCSI. - Experience with EMC RecoverPoint. - Experience with Netapp SnapVault / SnapLock. - Experience with Solaris and or Linux. - Experience with Automation of Storage Provisioning.
