Anticipates opportunities for improvement and identifies alternate solutions. Collaborates with engineers for creative ideas for Web portals supporting interactive content, analyzes and classifies complex change request and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements. Works with development team to develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare functional and/or technical specifications. Analyzes and evaluates detailed business and technical requirements. Codes and maintains complex components of information systems. Mentors others on coding standards and performs code reviews. Develops and performs system testing and fixes defects identified during testing and re-executes unit tests to validate results. * *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Requires an AA, BA/BS degree or technical institute training and 3+ years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multi business application, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Subject matter expert of one or more Business Intelligence applications. Experience with multiple Business Intelligence tools preferred. * *Requirements3+ years of expertise working with BI tools/applications and database ETL activates 3+ years experience defining, designing and implementing business intelligence solutions utilizing MicroStrategy 3-5 years developing complex stored procedures that incorporate best practices in data retrieval, error trapping, tuning and exception handling 3 + years working with MicroStrategy installations, configurations, project design and implementation. Experience utilizing the MicroStrategy SDK to customize the look and feel of the UI. Comprehensive knowledge of the MicroStrategy tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP Services and Report Services). Participate in ongoing design, code, test and documentation of new database features or data model enhancements Skills/Attributes * Strong understanding of implementing/programming business logic. Experience on large multi terabytes data warehouses. *Some experience using Teradata Tools (i.e. - SQL Assistant, TPT, Teradata Administrator) is a plusHealthcare industry experience preferred.
