*Immediate Need QA Manual Tester Need Local to DC, VA or MD For Face to Face Interview* Position : QA Manual Tester Location : Washington DC Duration: 6 month contract Rate:$30/HR on C2C MUST HAVE: ETL Testing PL/SQL SQL Testing Responsibilities Analyze requirements and write manual Test Scenarios. Identify, analyze, and document issues with application's functionality, output, user interfaces, or content. Write and execute basic SQL queries to QC data layer or to identify data of interest to drive UI Testing scenarios. Provide accurate and timely logging of issues to the bug logging system. Accurately report findings to the Lead and Manager for all the assigned tasks. Interact with internal users to obtain and convey concise problem information in a professional manner by phone, email, and in person. Qualifications At least a Bachelor's degree and 4-7 years of proven manual software testing experience in a functional QA team performing Black Box testing of Web Applications in GUI and Data Layer. Must have Strong SQL skills the majority of testing will be done in the Data Layer Ability to independently analyze requirements and to write manual Test Cases to test them. Some understanding of Client - Server communications in a Web Applications/HTTP context. Experience in cross browsers/ cross platforms is required. Prior experience in testing mobile devices is required. Some experience with troubleshooting issues on PCs or Macs Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to prioritize multiple workloads and deliver timely results. Ability to work in a team setting. Superior attention to details.
