Java Software Developer
As a Java Developer you will be primarily enhancing and maintaining 3
large, applications used to manage the transportation of petroleum
products.

Responsibilities:
Work within a team environment using the Agile development methodology.
Gather enhancement requests from Team Lead, update/create design documents
as needed, and develop software according to specifications.  Application
stacks include a) Java, Swing, JDBC, and SQL Server, and b) Java, JSP,

·Strong Object Oriented analysis and programming skills with Java.
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
·At least 1 solid year of work experience in an Agile development
environment.
·Effective communication skills to work within a technical team and
document application enhancements.
·Ability to write SQL queries, stored procedures, etc. in SQL Server.
·Interpersonal skills to work in a team-environment and yet sufficiently
skilled and self-motivated to work independently.

Preferred:
·Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is ideal to understand application
needs more easily, but not required
