Managing entire project life cycle using standard project management guidelines. Communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, managing application team leads, business stakeholders, technical support across the multiple projects, assist in managing the financial concerns of the program. Must be able to utilize and effectively communicate technical components of an initiative to applicable parties. Working with Project Management and Application Lead team members to ensure project deliverables are completed on time Tracking of project artifact signoffs Review Planview metrics and assist Project Management and Application Lead team members with updates as needed Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects. Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Experience: 10+ years IT project management experience. 5+ years managing large-scale development projects and/or multiple projects simultaneously. PMP Certified Experience with Microsoft Project and Experience in Insurance/Healthcare IT Systems and Experience working with Planview a Plus Project Description: January 15, 2009 – Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) published a final rule requiring providers, health plans clearing houses to comply with new code set regulations for the International Classification of Diseases, 10th Edition (ICD-10). Required Compliance Date: October 2013 ICD diagnosis and procedure codes are a fundamental element of business. Significant changes to the coding structure will impact most business processes and systems and will require significant training and updates to medical policies and contracts.
