development and theming using Drupal 7.Drupal is the system that runs the
university public websiteWrite PHP code based on defined
requirementsExperienced in full life cycle development including: Design,
development, and testing components of an overall solution that includes a
content *
*management system (CMS), including capabilities such as social
collaboration, analytics, CMS content entry, CMS content migration,
explicit/implicit *
*personalization, developing content types or content objects, site
architecture, and page templatesAnticipate issues and risks at the module
level and escalate appropriatelyOther duties as assigned*
*Qualifications*
*Ability to configure Drupal 7 and create custom Drupal modules using the
core APIFamiliarity with common Drupal 7 modules such as CTools, Views, and
Panels, and extending them through codeCoding in PHP, HTML/5, CSS/3, and
JavaScript/jQueryExperience with PHP and/or Drupal solutions in a
cloud-based environment is desirableKnowledge of Features and
features-based websitesCompetency in versioning (Git and/or
BitBucket)Understanding of command line (SSH, Drush, etc.)Knowledge of
deployment processes (Jenkins, Beanstalk, etc.)Solid understanding of all
parts of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Experience working in agile
or iterative SDLCsExperience with the LAMP (Linux, MySQL, PHP) technology
