*Immediate Need Lead Java Developer, NEED LOCAL CONSULTANTS ONLY* Position : Lead Java Developer Location : Dallas, TX Duration : 6 Months Desired Skills: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in application development, production support role. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in IT leadership role(s). Supervisory experience demonstrating willingness, desire, and ability to supervise with aptitude for coaching, mentoring, training, and developing teammate performance and skills to foster a positive work environment. Highly organized and deadline oriented with demonstrated attention to detail. High degree of initiative and ownership; able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and within a team. Ability to deal with ambiguous and complex situations, while creating structures and processes to drive clarity and results. Ability to act as an internal consultant for Teams within IT. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills including ability to listen attentively and to communicate information clearly and effectively throughout all levels of the organization with audiences of varying degrees of familiarity with technical material. Minimum 8 years’ experience in application development and support using .Java technologies (e.g., Fuse / JBoss, Hibernate, Spring, JCAPS, JUnit, Tomcat, JMeter, JIRA, Jenkins, Git ), third-party objects and other similar technologies. Minimum 8 years’ experience leveraging relational and OLTP database technologies such as Oracle 11g or SQL Server. Experience with Java Messaging Service (JMS) or other queuing frameworks Minimum 2 years’ experience in Web Services or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Experience with developing / consuming internal and third party web services utilizing Apache Camel, SOAP, and REST Working knowledge of Design Patterns Experience with software development estimating techniques. Experience with unit testing systems and validation tools. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline. Combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related discipline may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis.
