Position : TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER Location: El Segundo CA Duration: 18 months Requirement: If you are a big-picture thinker, with an understanding of business strategy and ability to translate and apply these to technological solutions, then we want you on our team! Our Set-Top-Box Software Engineering team is seeking a seasoned hands-on technical project manager with strong experience delivering new software features or products. This is an exciting opportunity to be directly involved with complex and innovative technology. You will also have the opportunity todirectly engage with our diverse Latin America business. In this position, you will be ultimately accountable for the successful delivery of STB software projects. You will be responsible for managing software development activities for multiple projects across the entire software development life cycle. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead cross-functional software teams to deliver new STB software features to Latin America markets Negotiate features and changes to software with DIRECTV Engineering and Latin America stakeholders whilst ensuring compliance with change control processes Resolve conflicts and make good business decisions that align technical and business requirements of DIRECTV Engineering and Latin America stakeholders Lead design reviews to ensure that the agreed design meets Latin America business objectives Ensure that team delivery stays consistently aligned with customer expectations of scope, budget and schedule Identify and remove roadblocks to team delivery, as well as prioritize team activities to achieve project goals EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Engineering or related field 5 – 7 years of experience leading projects in a technology environment Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams Strong negotiation and analytical skills to address project issues and cross-functional team challenges Applied experience in Waterfall or Agile methodologies MS Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint a must KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to work in a group/team environment Excellent written and verbal skills Creative problem solver Analytical and critical thinker Regards Alvin Stuart Recruiter Direct:609-423-4045 alvin.stu...@itbtalent.com Gtalk – alvinstuart9...@gmail.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP or Oracle Financials" group.
