*Candidates should have experience with Retail/ Apparel* and prefer Digital
Asset Management Technology, Customs implementations, Foreign Trade zone,
or logistics applications.
The scope of the overall project is disengaging the systems, data and
process of client from a spun off entity. The scope of this work stream is
to implement a hosted Customs solution for article classification and free
trade agreements.
*Position Description Business Analyst:* This resource will be responsible
for driving requirements in coordination with client and the solutions
provider, creating functional design documents, writing test cases, and
executing test cases to test implemented functionality. This resource is
required to specifically work in the Customs work stream.
*Preferred:* experience with the Customs implementations, Foreign Trade
zones, or logistics applications.
Beneficial but not required, knowledge of systems like Rockport or
Integration Point classification application.
*Skill Level*
• Intermediate in business analysis – 3-5+ yrs working medium to large
projects, worked on multiple projects specifically as a business analyst.
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to facilitate requirements and design sessions
*• Experience in retail environment with high level understanding of
product development within Apparel. *• Experience on projects through the
entire SDLC
• Strong communication skills
• *Experience in Digital Asset Management technology and process
implementations*
• Experience in the Customs implementations, Foreign Trade zone, or
logistics applications.
*Responsibilities: *• Facilitate workshops and meetings to define the
requirements from the business users and technology support group.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to define the processes in the future
state in and outside of any tools used.
• Participate in the recommendations of technology use, gap analysis
between tools capabilities and desired requirements, and resolution of the
gaps through process or technology.
• Document all requirements.
• Document all processes including interactions with the tools or with
other users.
• Document functional designs.
• Create test scenarios and cases.
• Execute test scenarios and cases.
• Risk identification
• Provide input to organizational change management in the form of
assessments of readiness for business to change, impacts to business users,
key messages to facilitate understanding for the business users of the
changes.
