Provision new systems and services for Client's Ecommerce space. This includes, but is not limited to, installing and configuring barebones hardware, installing and configuring middleware software components, integrating new systems with Client's security framework and being service delivery owner of new systems and services development partners and external customers Manage, execute, log and report break/fixes changes for Ecommerce Middleware Applications Develop and follow documented processes and procedures to ensure Middleware systems stability. Provide and analyze usage, performance, service level, compliance and audit reporting of Client's Ecommerce environments Implement, report, and monitor service upgrades (e.g. security fixes, etc.). Test and support software, hardware upgrades that directly affect Ecommerce applications and systems Perform process, hardware and software analysis on new technologies in their area of support and make recommendations to management on Middleware technology stacks Support and maintain Client Ecommerce solutions by utilizing required tools and technologies. Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation Requirements: The ideal candidates should *possess: * 4 - 6 years of experience working in the ecommerce technology space 4 - 6 years working with IBM Liberty, Tomcat and IBM WebSphere (Base/ND) Exposure and preferably experience with IBM WebSphere Commerce Server Experience with and familiarity with NoSQL (Cassandra) database technologies as well as relational databases (Will train on NoSQL if they do not have) Linux/Unix platform expertise Experience with Apache and preferably experience with Reverse Proxies Experience with firewalls and common ecommerce security frameworks Strong communication skills, as this person will have frequent one-on-one interaction with other developers and team members Needs to be able to "hit the ground running".
