We deliver using Agile and are tightly integrated with our business analysts and operations teams. You will participate in detailed technical design, development and implementation of applications using existing and emerging technology platforms. Working within an Agile environment, you will actively participate in story planning and detailed daily standups, while providing input for architectural design decisions, and developing code to meet story acceptance criteria. You will have the opportunity to continuously develop technical knowledge and skills on multiple platforms, and educate team members on the capabilities and constraints of technologies. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Driving automated software engineering delivery/deployment - Engineering toolsets and championing practices across an internal open source community - Collaborating with other application feature teams to ensure integrated end-to-end design and testing - Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines - Building dev, test and production environments in Amazon Web Services - Supporting teams during testing, and providing support during implementation into production - Designing applications for automated monitoring and alerting BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree, or military experience - At least 1 year of experience with cloud services configuration & administration - At least 2 years of experience in programming and scripting languages - At least 1 year of experience in developing a continuous delivery pipeline PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - At least 2 years in Linux administration - At least 2 years in Restful web/API services development, testing, and deployment - At least 2 years of experience working with continuous integration environments - At least 1 year in MongoDB, Hadoop, or Casandra administration -At least 1 year in micro-services development and deployment ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Will need to be able convert to perm.
