Job Description:

The Instructional Designer& Developer (ID) is responsible for developing
training support materials and products; including analysis reports, design
documents, instructional content, and courseware according to the Analysis,
Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) instructional design
model. The ID reports directly to the Associate Director of IT Learning &
Development.



*Key Responsibilities :*

§  Creates engaging learning experiences by aligning the learning
objectives to business strategies and goals.

§  Manages project Stakeholders to collaborate and extract learning content
from business processes, systems, and applications.

§  Think strategically and creatively while managing multiple assignments
in a deadline driven environment.

§  Conducts various front-end training analyses such as job and task
analysis, training needs analysis (TNA), gap analysis, and learning
assessments.

§  Design and develop curriculum maps, lesson plans and course content
following accepted instructional design methods.

§  Translates complex technical concepts to non-technical terms.

§  Designs and develops Train-the-Trainer (T3) courses for various methods
of training and instruction.

§  Creates storyboards for web-based training and virtual instructor-led
training (vILT).

§  Creates assessment questions and knowledge checks that align directly to
learning objectives. • Designs and develops instructional materials - job
aids and manuals for Instructor Led (ILT), eLearning, Virtual Instructor
Led (vILT) delivery methods.

§  Measures and evaluates training effectiveness.

§  Works collaboratively with team members, other ISDs, and Subject Matter
Experts (SMEs), Developers, and Management.



*Qualifications (Requirements):*



ü  Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design,
Educational Psychology, or other related field with 5+ years of experience
in Instructional Design.

ü  Proficient in Captivate and Articulate. • Proficient in MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

ü  Strong written and verbal communication skills with a solid grasp of
English grammar and usage.

ü  Ability to work collaboratively with others and independently. • Solid
ability to work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine ‘large amounts
of data’ into ‘need to know’ relevant training content.

ü  Familiar with Technical Writing concepts and procedures.

ü  Practical experience in creating learning objectives using Blooms
Taxonomy Desired Qualifications (a plus)

ü  Practical knowledge of SAM/Agile methodologies

ü  Project Management methodologies

ü  Adobe Connect experience

ü  Knowledge of SCORM and AICC technical standards, components and
compliances
