Title: Informatica Admin Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: 12 Months (from 9/7/16) Responsibilities 1. Migrate Informatica Power Center from version 9.5.1 to 10.1 in the DEV, TEST and PROD systems 2. Design and configure a new stand-alone server with Windows SQL Server 2014 and Informatica Power Center 10.1 in the DEV, TEST and PROD systems 3. Migrate T-MSIS data repository to the new server in the DEV, TEST and PROD systems 4. Design, configure and install the IDQ tool in the DEV, TEST and PROD systems of the new environment. 5. Upgrade Informatica PowerExchange from version 9.5.1 to 10.1 6. Automate and document the backup process for the repository and the domain 7. Provide architectural diagrams for the Informatica tools 8. Provide disaster recovery plan for Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Data Quality and Informatica PowerExchange 9. Configure Informatica PowerExchange 10.1 for proper function with existing transmission and repository tools 10. Document the support and maintenance tasks for the Informatica suite of tools, including best practices for security patching and version control 11. Document best practices and procedures for data handling, cleansing, and standardizing using IDQ 12. Provide hands-on server management training to up to 6 staff 13. Provide hands-on training to up to 6 staff on the administration and support of IDQ, PowerExchange and Power Center 14. Provide 150 support hours for unanticipated tasks Mandatory Qualifications: 1. As a minimum, the contractor must meet the mandatory education and experience as listed below. Failure to meet these mandatory qualifications will result in the disqualification of the offer. 2. Minimum of two years’ experience in leading the migration, installation and ongoing support of Informatica tools 3. Has successfully migrated Power Center to a later version 4. Has successfully configured a production Windows SQL server 5. Has successfully installed and configured Informatica DataQuality 6. Has successfully upgraded and configured Informatica PowerExchange 7. Minimum of three years’ experience with database management, including data cleansing and migration 8. Minimum of one year of experience with disaster recovery planning Desirable Qualifications: 1. Experience with T-MSIS or MSIS efforts 2. Experience with Power Center 10 3. Experience with Windows SQL Server 2014 4. Experience with hands-on training on server management and Informatica tools 5.
