experience)*

*JOB RESPONSIBILITIES *

You will write applications utilizing open-source software for Python, Web
based APIs and any other customer driven requirement.

We want developers to join our team that are smart and are looking to be
challenged by solving complex problems. You must work well in a team
oriented / open environment. We want developers that enjoy developing
modular software designed to scale and built to last. We are looking for
people who have ‘agile’ in their DNA and get excited about having newly
developed features getting released to a live production site in a matter
of days (even hours). You will handle a wide array of tasks ranging from
prototyping new techniques and technologies, to developing test automation,
and supporting our growing customer base. You are expected to write quality
code with high availability for

large-scale applications in Carrier Class networking and Cloud based
environments.



*Experience / Skills Required *

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,
Telecommunications or equivalent with strong competencies in data
structures, algorithms, and software design are required

• 2+ Years of Software development experience

• Python/Java development experience (more than just scripting)

• Experience programming in a Linux environment (preferably Ubuntu)

• Experience with any of the following:

o Java

o JSON/XML

o Yang/Netconf/Tosca

o REST/HTTP API



*Experience / Skills Desired *

• Understanding of the OpenStack Project Ecosystem

• Working knowledge of linux Containers/Docker

• Strong knowledge of Datacenter networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing,
switching, VLANs, GRE, OpenVswitch, BGP)

• Experience with Virtual Routers (Alacatel Lucent VRS, VRF, VRD, Cisco,
Juniper)

• Experience with Virtual Network Functions (vLB, vFW, vDNS)

• Experience with Software Defined Networking models

• Yang/Netconf

• Solid understanding of Datacenter Networking

• ONOS/Open Day Light

• Experience with monitoring tools and alerting systems such as Zabbix,
Nagios, HP
