If so, then this may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for! *Key Responsibilities* As part of an applications focused development team, you’ll have the following key responsibilities: • Enhancement of applications, using JMS, with AMQP capabilities integrating respectively with SonicMQ brokers and RabbitMQ brokers. • Design and implement solution patterns that would be followed in order to simplify and maximize decoupling of MQ-systems. • Leverage existing configuration-service implementation to drive dynamic configuration for AMQP runtime. • Design and develop solutions to trace and monitor messages throughout the environment. • Work in collaboration with several teams, including development teams, data center operations, QA, PM, as well as a contracting agency specializing in RabbitMQ. • Implement POC solutions as needed to solidify solution patterns and strategies for the FindLaw Enterprise. • Applying industry best practices around RabbitMQ and AMQP solutions. *Qualifications, Experience and Skills *You are a quick learner, comfortable working independently as well as collaborating effectively with other functional teams, have a passion for delivering quality solutions and constantly motivated to innovate and improve. • 8+ years experience in building distributed Java/J2EE client-server applications. • Solid experience with message queuing solutions using JMS and other protocols. • Experience with using open source integration frameworks for communications with message brokers. • Solid grasp of AMQP protocol and concepts. • Experience building Web Service applications using the following technologies: REST Spring frameworks Hibernate or other object-relational mapping frameworks.
