*Need        :Project Manager with Six Sigma and banking 
exp.Location:Jersey City.NJDuration:9 Month Contract* 
 
* IT Project Manager -(Banking)* 
 
*Responsibilities:* 
Manage medium to large scale project for Corporate Banking Trade and 
Commodity Finance IT group
This function covers incumbents that are responsible for the management of 
significant projects on a firm-wide scale which are not associated with any 
particular infrastructure or business area. Responsible for the management 
of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business 
and product initiatives, process re-engineering, establishment of control 
procedures) on a firm-wide scale. 
Work typically on multi-disciplinary projects and require a broad knowledge 
of the firm and its key functions. 
This incumbent may also be responsible for the tools and methods of six 
sigma, including DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), DFSS 
(Design for Six Sigma), Process Management, Lean and Project Selection. 
Responsible for the management of cross-functional projects. Staff provides 
consulting services, business expertise, analysis, and recommendations, 
typically relating to corporate initiatives.
IT business analyst / project manager facilitates the collaboration between 
Operations and IT articulating business / operational needs and defining 
the appropriate technology solution. 
Projects in scope involve optimization of the workflow, increase in 
efficiency and productivity for Trade Finance Operations.
 
*Business Development:*
Identify, document business needs and facilitate resolution 
Specify the workflow & systems enhancements to satisfy business needs
Complete business requirements & functional specifications 
Participate in various testing cycles, provide support to the end-user
Effectively conveys the message in both written and verbal business 
development discussions
 
*Project /Practice Management:* 
Coordinate multiple projects in accordance with ITO-CB project methodology, 
guidelines 
Responsible for all aspect of the project lifecycle including planning, 
monitoring & reporting 
Coordinate various meetings to ensure visibility and proper project 
governance
Effectively manage project risks timeline, escalation and issues mitigation 
when needed 
Maintain project documentation, monitor budget & resources allocation 
Coordinate various testing cycles with all stakeholders 
Organize preparation of deployment documentation and procedures 
Effectively communicate relevant project information to the senior 
management and project team 
 
*Qualifications:*
Minimum five years experience in similar role & organization 
Functional background in Banking Industry with emphasis on Trade Finance 
activity
Extensive project management experience with excellent organization, 
analytical and time management skills
Experience in business analysis, strong problem solving/troubleshooting 
skills
Proficiency in oral and written communication, presentation skills 
Ability to work under pressure and creatively address various topics on-hand
Manage concurrent tasks and facilitate resolution in the most efficient way
Ability to work independently and become an effective team member
Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, Clarity, Business Objects 
& SQL is a plus
