Location: Collegeville, PA Duration: 1Year REQUIRED SKILLS: •Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an IT R&D environment. •Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. •Experience gathering requirements and conducting JAD sessions for the implementation of a software solution. •Experience with Oracle Clinical or Medidata Rave. •Communicate and propose reconciliation to gaps in requirements, whether business, user, functional or technical (including data-related issues) •Clear understanding of the technology and associated dependencies between systems including an understanding of data migration, quality assurance, and batch migration technologies (i.e. ETL or custom). •Experience with the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC). •Experience operating in an environment with validated systems. •Proven ability to work creatively and think analytically. •Experience managing a team of resources, both on (required) and offshore (optional). •Must be able to create process flow diagrams using process diagramming tools •Must be familiar with Requirements generation software e.g. REQPro JOB DESCRIPTION: The Rave Data Migration Project is looking for a lead Business Analyst to support the project manager and a team of client personnel to define and document the requirements and processes for migrating data from the legacy CDM (Clinical Data Management) system Medidata Rave to the Pfizer Oracle Clinical instance. This role will be mostly technical in nature but will require a solid understanding of the clinical trials process and an awareness of the integration activities of interdependent systems. This role is expected to manage the development of quality business, user, functional and technical requirements and work with the build and test teams to ensure the requirements are properly implemented and traced.
