*Only US Citizens, Green Cards and EAD’s…..* * * *Title:* Java Support Analyst *Location:* Charlotte, NC *Duration:* 6 months, with possible extensions and possible right-to-hire. *Rate:* $40 – 45/hr *Responsibilities* Analyze and coordinate resolution of production issues. Maintain adequate communication with clients and IT management; act as liaison between business, vendors and other support teams. Write ANT scripts for QA, production releases and deployments. Escalate issues when required to ensure timely resolution. Become key point of contact for all issues and requests related to Java application support. Develop relationships with other IT groups to ensure all issues are addressed in an expedient and effective manner and that users are kept updated at all times. Documentation of production applications and infrastructure. Maintain required level of infrastructure support; liaison with internal teams where necessary. Maintain production and Disaster Recovery environment infrastructure. *Qualifications*: *Education and Professional Qualifications* Essential Desirable BS / BA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or MathematicsJava Certification Oracle / Sybase Certification *Work Experience* Essential Desirable 5+ years as Application/Database Developer in the brokerage/financial services sector with hands on experience on Java, EJB, Struts, JSP Programming with Weblogic, JDBC, OOA/OOD/OOP XML/XSLT/HTTP. Enterprise-wide Presentation Layer Design and Development Experience support and tuning database objects / stored procedures and PL/SQL. 2+ years of production application release and support to end users. Familiar with Incident and problem mgmt processes. 3+ years of application development experience in the financial/banking domain, on the Java, JSP, including data modeling. *Technical/Business Skills and Knowledge* Essential Desirable Knowledge of CRM applications. Superior skills in technical analysis, Java, JSP, Object Oriented Design and Programming Knowledge of Java IDE’s such as eclipse. Strong Oracle database development skills - data modeling, stored procedures, triggers, etc. Proficient in XML, XSLT.
