Telecom Testers – BOSS Location: Seattle, WA Duration: up to 6 months Positions: Multiple *Client: Telecom* Roles and Responsibilities: · Should have strong domain knowledge in BSS/OSS. Involve in defining scope, work estimation and quality deliverables. · Should be able to prepare test cases, review and execute with quality. · Should be individual player and able to independently estimate own assigned tasks, plan, Monitor and Execute the same. · Good exposure to software testing fundamentals and concepts, Highly proficient in test case writing & review, defect tracking, requirement tracking and analysis. Understanding of CMMi process for Testing and Quality Systems. · Should be experience in managing Customer interface and updating the stakeholders. Strong communication skills required and effective communication with team members , peers and Supervisors required. Candidate should possess good analytical skills. · Provide testing reports and status on regular basis. Kind Of Experience: 8-10 years of total experience Mandatory Skills: Strong Domain experience in BSS/OSS. Testing Exposure to CRM, Mediation, Provisioning, Rating, Billing. Must have experience in any Bug Tracking tool like QC, Bugzilla or any other proprietary tool. Exposure to Web/Portal Testing & Multibrowser testing. Working knowledge for Order-to-Cash or Order-to-Bill flows. Preferred Skills: Good to have exposure in shell script, VB Script & JAVA. Exposure to Agile based projects. Good to have exposure in automation tools like QTP/Silk test/Open Source Tools. Good to have exposure in Performance Testing tools like Performance Centre/Load Runner/Open Source Tools. Good to have ISTQB (Advanced Level) Certification.
