This position will expand upon previous product data cleansing. It will
include planning; execution, and configuration of the Oracle Enterprise
Data Quality Product Data Parsing and Standardization Module to expand upon
cleansing the current data and providing on-going data cleansing.

The PLCB is a multi-faceted agency responsible for the sale and control of
beverage alcohol throughout the Commonwealth and is one of the largest
purchasers of wine and spirits in the country. The PLCB will provide
on-site space at the Northwest Office Building during PLCB working
hours. For purposes of clarity, PLCB working hours are from 8:00 a.m.
through 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday inclusive.

The Data Cleansing will assist the PLCB to provide customers and employees
with more accurate and efficient access to information on the agency's
beverage alcohol products. The PLCB seeks assistance in the form of a
qualified, Oracle ERP experienced person who also has intricate knowledge
of wine and spirits to assure execution that meets the strategic business
objectives of the PLCB.

Product "short" descriptions, SCC descriptions, multi-level relationship
data and additional User Defined Attributes (UDA's) require data
cleansing. The first round of efforts to cleanse the data in the Oracle
ERP System is nearing completion. This included only Long descriptions and
some UDAs for product data within the RMS module. By expanding the
cleansing and updating additional data fields, the information will be even
more useful to PLCB Supply Chain Analysts, Category Managers, Warehouse
staff, data warehouse reports and external users.

The PLCB needs to be able to manage its master data to ensure that all
information is properly maintained within categories and made available for
customers to find and purchase using their preferred search words on
current web search technologies. In preparation, PLCB has implemented the
Oracle Enterprise Data Quality Product Data Parsing and Standardization
Module and is ready to expand upon its capabilities.

by business managers and customers to make marketing, reporting and
purchasing decisions by performing data cleansing. The selected vendor will

Data Parsing and Standardization Module, cleanse the data, return the data
to the Oracle ERP system, and Retail Data Warehouse (RDW) as well as
