Title: Sr Quality Assurance Engineer posted on 2014-04-17 15:04:37 Job Description:Title: Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Cranbury, NJ Description: Gather requirements, review, analyze, design, develop, deploy, configure, integrate, test, implement, and maintain software applications, i.e. full software life cycle development. Acquire and report objective measurements of quality and progress for CIS services, products, and initiatives. Derive test cases from functional requirement documents. Generate test reports. Analyze software codes i.e. monitor code complexity, adherence to standards. Test client server and web applications under various load levels. Check the validity of links, the correctness software code usage and to ensure that programs work. SQA best practices, s/w develops cycle. Review, develop & execute automated & manual test cases/scripts using testing tools like QTP, LoadRunner, QC, Performance Center & Oracle, SQL. Perform UT, Integration testing and UAT. Communicate with the development team to resolve issues. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations with expenses paid by employer. M-F; 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM 40 hours/week. Salary: $90,459.00 per year. Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or any related field. Requires one year of experience in the job offered or in any job title/position providing experience listed in the Special Requirements*. In lieu of Master's degree and one year of experience, employer will accept Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or any related field, plus five years of progressive work experience. Special Requirements: Qualifying experience must include the following applications: JDBC, WebService, LoadRunner, Java, SQL and Oracle. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. with expenses paid by employer.
